Red Sprite - Free Monthly Technology Meetup in Redhill, Surrey

Join us on June 9th for a hands-on evening exploring MODBUS RTU over RS485 and MODBUS TCP/IP. If you’ve ever wondered how devices talk to each other behind the scenes, this is a chance to see it in action.

We’ll look at how the technology works, compare serial and network-based communication, and use Wireshark to watch real data moving across the wire. Bring a laptop if you’d like to follow along. No deep specialist knowledge needed — just curiosity and an interest in how things work.
